Newcomers' Welcome

What to Expect

Sunday Services - services are at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Greeters - Stationed at the entrances to the church, greeters welcome parishioners, newcomers and visitors to Sunday services.  They are ready to assist and answer any questions. At the end of each service, the clergy, joined by a member of the vestry, greets each person at the end of service with a hand-shake and welcomes all to coffee hour which is held each Sunday immediately after the service.

Visitor Card and Sign In - We ask that newcomers and visitors sign the visitor cards on the back of the pews and place them in the offering plate. We also ask newcomers and visitors to sign the guest book in   the foyer, as these are our ways of getting to know you and including you in church activities.

Parking and Entrances - An abundance of street parking is available around the church. The entrance to the front of the parish for Sunday services is on Mason Street.  Ramp Access is on High Street. (In fact, Emmanuel is also known as Emmanuel on High.) The front entrance to the administrative offices and the preschool is on Russell Road.

Handicapped Accessibility - The complete first floor of our facility (including the parish, fellowship hall, and restrooms) are handicap accessible. The ramp access for the church is on High Street and the lift is in the foyer. Ask an usher for assistance.
