Children During Service

There are many options for families with children during service at Emmanuel.

During Service - Children, including infants, are always welcomed to stay in the pew with their parents during the church service and take part in the communion or receive a blessing. Resources, such as crayons, coloring sheets, and children bulletings are available at the back of the church to help you keep your young children happy and busy during the service. There is also a rocker in the back of the church, if a baby needs a little comforting.

Nursery Care - Emmanuel provides nursery care for infants to 4 year-olds every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Emmanuel has a fully-equipped nursery with a regular caregiver staff. For more information, see Nursery Care.

Sunday School - Emmanuel provides Sunday School for children from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Sunday School is guided by the Episcopal Children's Curriculum. During the church service, children are escorted back into the church to rejoin their parents in time for communion or a blessing. For more information, see Sunday School.

Children's Choir - Children who are members of the Children's choir sing once a month during Family Sunday and  practice after the 10:30 a.m. service.
