Communion and Blessing
All who seek God and are drawn to Christ are welcome at communion. Hold out your hands to receive the wafer. You may dip your wafer in the wine or drink from the common cup. If you prefer not to receive the wine, cross your arms over your chest after you receive the wafer.
Gluten free wafers are available; say “gluten free” to the communion minister when they offer you the wafer.
Grape juice is available for those who prefer it to wine. When the chalice bearer approaches, say “juice”.
If you wish to receive a blessing instead of communion, when the minister approaches with the wafer, cross your arms over your chest to indicate you want a blessing instead.
If you wish to receive communion in your seat, please notify an usher.
