Planned Giving

Planned Giving is an effective means for you and your family to help ensure the vibrancy and sustainability of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.  Planned Giving is any gift made during a lifetime as part of one’s estate, whether by will, a trust or other means.   There are many ways to remember Emmanuel Episcopal Church in your estate planning which include the following:

·       Name Emmanuel Church Foundation as the beneficiary of a bequest.

·       Create a gift annuity or charitable trust that can provide lifetime income and ultimately and become a gift to Emmanuel.

·       Contribute real estate, securities or other personal property.

·       Make Emmanuel the owner or beneficiary of a fully paid life insurance policy.

The Foundation has prepared A Guide to Gift Planning for your reference which sets forth some of the basic techniques of tax-advantaged charitable giving.  For gifts of stock, the church has an account with a brokerage firm to handle transfers.

To find out more information about Planned Giving, you may contact the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Foundation or call the church office at (703) 683 - 0798. You may submit this form regarding your intent to make a planned gift.
