Join us as we make a joyful noise!

Music is one of our greatest gifts from God. Whether in praise, meditation or prayer, music can uplift the soul. At Emmanuel, we exercise our spiritual voice through singing and musical instruments..

We always welcome new members into our musical fold at Emmanuel. There is a way for everyone to be involved, whether as a member of the adult choir, children's choir, guitar circle, hand chime choir, or as an occasional instrumentalist or an enthusiastic congregational singer.

To inquire about any aspect of Emmanuel's music program, contact our music director, Ryan Fitch.

Children's Music Ensemble

The Emmanuel Children's Music Ensemble rehearses on Sundays during Sunday school time. The children’s ensembel sings and plays instruments throughout the school year and sings on the 1st Sunday of every month for Youth Sunday.

Chime / Handbell Choir

The Emmanuel handbell choir rehearses every Sunday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. We perform beautiful and easily accessible sacred music for handbells, and we play during the school year on the 3rd Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service. Let us know if you are interested in learning how or already know how to play handbells.

Adult Choir

The Emmanuel adult choir rehearses every Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m and the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. We perform a variety of classical and contemporary favorite sacred music, and we sing during the school year on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays at the 10:30 a.m. service.

We are always welcoming new members to join us for our various liturgical seasons of music-making, whether your interest is on a full or part-time basis.

Also, it's important to remember that every person is welcome. Trained and untrained singers work together at Emmanuel to create a wonderful environment of music-making. Your involvement in adult choir can be as often as your schedule allows. Each season, practice tracks are listed on our practice page, to help you listen and practice your part, even if you will be absent for rehearsal. Add the tracks to your playlist and learn and listen on the go!

 Guitar Circle

Our guitar circle plays during various church services and special church events and rehearses each Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. If you have ever played a guitar and know "3 majors and a minor," you are more than welcome to join our musical guitar circle. We play spiritual music as well as wonderful tunes from the '70s onward!

Instrumentalist

Emmanuel welcomes instrumentalists to share their gifts in a variety of ways. Please tell us if you have experience playing musical instruments, such as strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, piano and organ.
