Worship at Emmanuel

In accordance with the Diocese of Virginia, our service options are cahnging and expanding as Covid-19 restrictions allow. We currently have three options available to worship with Emmanuel.

Outdoor Holy Eucharist is being offered on Sunday morning at 8;00 am in the chapel Garden at the Virginai Theological Seminary, 3737 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA.

Live Emmanuel at Home Morning Prayer happens each Sunday morning at 10:00 am with live music, celebrant, and reader, along with slides so you can follow along with the service A link to the service along with printable PDF are sent to your email on Saturday afternoons.

Emmanuel at Home Morning Prayer, a service of prayer, scripture, and song, each week includes a homily for adults and one for children. Each Sunday's service is available at 2:00 pm Saturday prior by clicking on Emmanuel at Home Morning Prayer Archive.

Zoom Coffee Hour each Sunday at 11:30 via Zoom offers a chance for fellowship and connection.

Seasonal celebrations for Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and Pentecost will be posted in upcoming parish communications.

Emmanuel is planning for return to indoor worship at such a time as permitted by the Bishop in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Diocese of Virginia.
