EPS Chapel
Each month, Emmanuel Preschool students participate in Chapel, led by Reverend Jen. This dedicated time allows children to explore foundational concepts of faith through rotating monthly themes, such as "People We Love," "Be the Light," "Growing," "Christmas," and "The Lost Sheep," while maintaining a consistent and familiar structure.

Preschool Chapel commences with the traditional hymn, "This is the Day That the Lord Has Made," followed by the primary lesson of the day. In observance of October and the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, students brought stuffed animals to introduce to and be blessed by Rev. Jen. In turn, Rev. Jen introduced her own stuffed companion, a llama named Daryl, known by his recognizable black tie. The gathering concludes with the singing of a crowd favorite: "The Butterfly Song."
Chapel services for the three-year-old and four/five-year-old classes are held in the sanctuary, offering the older children an opportunity to experience the sacred space together with their peers. Meanwhile, Rev. Jen conducts a tailored chapel session in the Blue Room for the two-year-old classes, providing an intimate environment suited for informal singing and learning.
Chapel remains a meaningful and cherished component of the Emmanuel Preschool experience for all participants.
