The Baptismal Promises we make, according to the Book of Common Prayer, demonstrate the spirit of Emmanuel’s ministry of Spiritual Formation for all ages.
In the liturgy we are asked these questions:
Will you proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ?
Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?
Will you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being?
Thank God the response to all of the above is “I will, with God’s help.” We are on this journey of faith together supported by an all loving and compassionate God.
